Performance reviews are engrained in company culture. The Uptick team knew that creating an MVP with product-market fit would require a deep understanding of how performance reviews are done today.

The Uptick Team approached us with some hazy ideas, a few wireframes, and a big vision — to transform corporate culture, starting with the performance review process.

When we hired them, we felt that we needed design. But our real need was to get a little more focused in our strategy and tactics. And they helped us do that.

Two weeks later, we delivered a MVP that was differentiated and had been validated with potential customers.
